Full Tilt Poker $1 + $0.20 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t40/t80 Blinds - 5 players - View hand 785718
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

UTG: t2160 M = 18
Hero (CO): t1120 M = 9.33
BTN: t4030 M = 33.58
SB: t1635 M = 13.62
BB: t4555 M = 37.96

Pre Flop: (t120) Hero is CO with K Q
1 fold, Hero raises to t200, BTN calls t200, 2 folds

BTN: 49/13
SB: 13/5
BB: 19/5

Spots with 13-15 BB's and marginal hands really confuse me. Is shoving too spewy here? How would you proceed in this situation with medium pocket pairs 99-JJ.

IMHO, this is shove or fold time for me. My stack is not big enough to be splashing around with raises or calls.

KQo is a little too weak from the c/o. From button, maybe.

Shoving is a bit spewy and I don't like open raising since the BTN will call our raise wide and we'll be OOP most of the time.

I would jam 88+ here.

If button is a thinking player and presumes us to be aswell your raise is easily exploitable, he can shove uber wide and expect to see folds alot of the time.

I like a fold in this spot. From the btn I'm shoving.

Fellas you really dont need to push or fold. And that you get called wide when you raise pre dont need to be bad (its good more often then bad).

Just raise 200 pre, cbet 200ish (most flops) if you miss and get it in if you hit (not necessarly if its AKx f.e., but you get the point) its pretty simple to play and makes you easy money against this guys.
