Of those 573 hands you have on him, how many have been

1) from the BTN
2) when 5-handed
3) with the chance to open the pot
4) as the biggest stack left in the hand
5) with 5bb as the effective stack?

If he's a half decent reg then I'm snapping this off like there's no tomorrow.

This mostly. If he's a half decent reg he's shoving here hoping you'll fold most hands with the BB so short.

i'm folding this against randoms. If he's a good reg i'm calling. This is a 1$ so i doubt he's good or thinking about icm at all.

Are we ATC here? I know we have 5BB, I ain't folding, but I see the spot quite often enough, what should our calling range be in this spot if we were deeper?

K8?

Just asking

According to Wiz it's a +$EV call in case BU shoves >70%, which I highly doubt in a $1 tardament. That's assuming BB never folds.

We don't have enough info to answer that vague of a question imo. Depends on how deep everyone is and what their ranges are.

Doubt I'm too worried about $EV at this early stage in the FT. I don't think this is a spot spot to be worrying too much about ICM, so I'm gonna go with the +cEV play here and call. Outlasting BB only bumps our prize up from 4 BI to 5 BI. Doubling up through BTN will make us chip leader, enabling us to use our stack to get the fold equity that is so essential to running over FTs in these, and giving us a real shot at 14 BI for 1st, or 10 BI for 2nd.
