Open Side Menu Go to the Top

I recently installed a remote access extension on my Chrome browser. I did not realize this would have negative effects unless I was using it to access my computer while on Party Poker.

I received an email letting me know the reason I could not log in was because of a Remote Access application, and if I wanted to continue to play I would have to remove it.

I deleted the extension in Chrome, and still its a no go. I went into the Control Panel and unchecked the box that allows remote access to the computer, and still a no go.

I talked to a Party Poker rep and they informed me there is still an application running that is prohibiting me to play, but they could not help me figure out how to turn it off or delete it.

Any experts on this kind of thing that could help me find and remove the problem??

Try looking for splashtop under the processes and services tab in task manager.

Three suggestions:

1. Go to your chrome options and choose extensions. Make sure the remote access extension is removed.

2. Go to your task manager and close any instance of Chrome and try again.

3. Uninstall Chrome and see if the problem persists.

If you still have the problem after all this then its most likely some other remote access program running.
