These are the days the Party Rep has come into the sponsored thread (meaning Party Poker pays to have this forum here and they pay for the right to have the Party_Rep account) in the past 3 weeks to answer questions about NJ poker.

For the site that is supposed to be the market leader in the US, I think this is unacceptable and I am frustrated with the lack of answers and communication. As a result I have drastically cut the amount I play on Party, mostly just on Sundays now for the big guarantees, because of all the issues I and so many other players are having.

I truly do not understand the logic of having so many players upset about so many different issues in a country that has just recently made online poker legal again and just not doing anything about it.

Party_rep is useless. Old news. Can we get a rep from twoplustwo to be a party rep? Instead of one coming from them. There's a few people who would do it and would be qualified.
01-12-2014 , 05:56 PM
in fairness i've worked less days then you're listing...but that's also because i'm banning party and borgata till they can rectify at least basic probs. So they've reasonably taken me out of a job.

I mean we can sit here and troll out how bad they are as a company, brand, etc or just people can stop playing on there and let them know that the costumer is king.
01-12-2014 , 06:10 PM
Yea I mean, I am not hoping this to be a troll thread, but one that maybe would get the attention of the Party people. If the Party_Rep account is not responding to PM's and posts in other threads, then making a thread about it seems like the next logical step.

I made a similar post regarding the lack of presence. I even asked a mod about it, but it was right after a rare post by the party rep where he goes on one of his flurrys and answers 15 things in 20 mins then disappears. I don't think much can be done anyway since they are a paid sponsor.

Just don't play on the site, then maybe they will listen.

Sure, people not playing on the site is what is happening and will continue to happen unless something changes fast.

I just don't get it...after so many years and so many millions of dollars Party paid/spent to be able to operate in the US, after so many years outside of the US market, to start it off like this seemingly unorganized, ill-prepared and nonchalant is really confusing.

If you have followed the company in the last few years it shouldn't be a surprise. Look at their software, it is the year 2014. It is an absolute joke.

Yeah it is very disappointing and what else is bad is the support does not answer you at all. I had a glitch with a mission and support does not get back to me at all. I think Borgata also carries the great support as well. Their slogan should be: "Welcome to Party Poker! Where support is non-existent."

Just switch to borgata. I've never had an issue getting a hold of them on the phone. You choose to play at party.
01-12-2014 , 09:49 PM
Party answers my emails always. Idk if I've just been running good there or what. Sent maybe 10.

I think they share more than just the software in the background. I sent a complaint to division of gaming regarding party and got a call back from borgata rep. While the rep sounded attentive on the phone and sent my support request to the people in charge of their technical support group, they haven't corrected the issue 1 month after the call. That tells me neither group (party or borgata) really cares about this business.

Do you guys think party actually gives two ****s about us and our complaints? They are too busy trying to wow the general public with their restore the shore campaign and becoming partners with sports teams to waste their precious time trying to fix a few bugs.
01-13-2014 , 03:40 PM
If they listened to us it'd be better and more people would play

Borgata has been pretty stable for me though I don't play a lot of tables

I play 6 tables and have no problems. I don't consider this many tables tbh.

Party rep last seen here on 2+2 Jan 10th.
This is just beyond dumb.
01-18-2014 , 02:07 PM
I tried alerting the mods to this but they either didn't see my post or they can't really do much
01-18-2014 , 02:20 PM
So what can we do about it? Send a bunch of emails to party support?
01-18-2014 , 08:01 PM
They rather spend the money on ads than fixing problems and hiring competent people. It'll last until poker stars comes on the scene then it's game over for them.

I tweeted today to both Party and Party NJ and to Warren Lush, who has now begun investigating the lack of communication on here and with support. He also asked me to let him know if support has not re-entered this forum by tomorrow.

Hopefully this is a step in the right direction.

There are two (maybe 3) possibilities why the support sucks for these sites. 1) They just didn't hire enough to people to do all the work, so all these support guys have like 8 "jobs" 2) All these supposed support guys are just taking a pay check and doing little to no work 3) They are just really incompetent making their work rate super slow.

Or a combo of these.

Katie I personally appreciate you getting on their asses about this, doing a little is better than doing nothing. It can only improve from here IMO

We understand your concern and are here to help. The problems faced by our customers and those being aired on this forum warrant our frequent attention & going forward we intend to render help which is more timely.
We are constantly responding to PMs which have the player’s account name and pertain to a specific query. Such issues we immediately help resolve. While there are many posts which require our assistance, the issues citing Location Verification depend on a particular player’s account which needs to be looked-up since the solution varies. Hence our request to such players to contact our customer service.
We browsed through your past posts and to help you resolve the freezing of the client would request you to contact us, alternatively PM your account name and an appropriate time to call. During the space of the call we would also help you install the software and set-up the Wi-Fi dongle.
A generic reply could not be posted earlier since the software installation would depend on the make on the system you are using to access the poker client.
