Hi Party Poker,
I play under the name _________ at your site. I was recently involved in a hand where I knocked out an opponent multi-way, but was not credited for the knockout.
The hand # is 10,889,892
The relevant action is this:
Opponent 1 (least chips) all in
Opponent 2 (more chips than Opponent 1) all in
Me (more chips than both) all in
Opponent 1 wins the main pot
I win the side pot
I was not credited with the knock out. Opponent 1 definitely shouldnt have been, because he was covered by Opponent 2. But that seems to be the case.
Please let me know why I did not receive the knockout credit.
Thanks,
Me

Dear Me,
Thank you for contacting Customer Service.
After carefully reviewing your hand history we are able reply to your query. As you wrote you were the chip leader on your table. The situation on your table was:
The cards on the deck were: [Qh 7d 5h Ac 8s]
You had pair of Tens: [ Tc, Th ]
The other two players you played with:
Player “A” had: pair of Aces [ Jh Ah ]
Player “B had: pair of Sevens [ 9s 7s ]
However the player “A” wins the main pot because of high cards but did not collect the whole amount of it because of insufficient funds. The player “A” played only for the amount that he/she bet. The excessive amount of your bet was returned back to you in form of the side pot.

Peter, thanks for your reply. Id like you to remember that this tournament credited each player $4.50 or so for every player they knock out.
You have accurately described the hand, but have failed to mention that at the beginning of the hand player "B" had more chips than player "A" had.
Player "A" indeed won the main pot with a pair of aces, but did not have enough chips to knock out player "B"
I knocked out Player "B" from the tournament by winning the side pot with a pair of tens. I should receive the knockout credit of $4.50. It is that simple.
Please come to a concrete resolution of this issue with your next e-mail.
Thank you,
Me

Dear Me ,
Thank you for contacting Customer Service.
I am sorry for the inconvenience you have encountered.
Let me confirm for you that in order to get the prize for eliminating a player in bounty tournament this should happen in main pot. As you created side pot with player "B" and won it, this did not count toward getting the prize for eliminating him.

Losing $4.50 isn't a big deal, but how can you possibly come to this conclusion here... Also, why piss a customer off over a happy meal?
