PartyPoker NJ freezes for me every other second, making it very tough to register for games. Does anyone else have this issue? Old news?

I would just like to say that the party poker software is super glitchy. I can't view a tourny lobby when i'm in a MTT or the entire site freezes and i have to control alt delete. Also, the way that you join games is terrible (as in you can't even see how many are at a table). It makes it so you play short a lot. Visually, party is also awful, you can't even tell who you have notes on and its just bad in general. They need to revamp this software completely. Although I'm playing on Party currently (bonus purposes), 888 blows it out of the water. End rant.

it's been happening to me for the past 3 days where i'd have to task manager > end the process and then restart the program...i just messed around with the filters tho and i've noticed that if i don't filter out only registering tournaments it runs a little better...it'll still freeze up every so often but it catches up to itself sooner than it does with the filters on..idk if that'll help u guys but it's made it bearable for me so far

PartyPoker.NJ seems to freeze my laptop moreso than when I am on PartyPoker.com playing in Mexico.

I'm almost done playing for the day, but have had to restart Party 3 times during today's sunday session, all 3 times resorting to ctrl/alt/delete to close the program since it just freezes up completely.

nevermind what i said above, it's still just as laggy and freezes as badly...horrible horrible horrible

Time for another maintenance update.

Both sides - PP/Borgata - have similar glitches.

One that turned up tonight was on the Party side. Freezing while playing the fast forward tables, then the tournaments running simultaneously. That compounded into a geo-location freeze after playing for almost 3 hours.

Waiting for customer service to respond.

I just downloaded the party app for iPhone and it's lol bad. It had so many glitches, at one point the flop just had a "6" on my screen with no other cards. Once I saw that I said no thanks.

I do the same thing on my Win 8 laptop. On my Win 7 laptop it works fine.

Party - get your UX/responsive design guys on top of this. I hate Windows 8 a ton but there's no other choice. Come on now!!!

I have the same issues on a Windows 7 laptop.

Yep.. Two sessions after I said that, the same thing started happening on Win 7 for me as well.....

With regard to any software loading or freezing issues, you will need to do a clean uninstall of the software including clean-up of the registry. Yeah. Me too. The software has literally gone on the blink. Reinstall didn't help.



Edit: I fixed my issue. I switched from windows classic to basic desktop theme and the problem went away.

So am I going to have to reinstall your program from scratch every other week? It was absolutely pathetic how awful it was while trying to play the Millionaire semifinal this past weekend. It took 3 tries to get the program to actually launch, then I tried the browser client, which hung up on the log-in screen a few times. I finally got in, and was flagged for not being in NJ. Closed out, tried the program again, and it was actually working reasonably well for about 15 minutes, until I tried to look at the lobby, at which point everything froze again. Another few tries with program and browser were fruitless until I was finally able to get back into the browser... and was flagged for not being in NJ again.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled, and it still took me several minutes to get logged in. Make your software less ****ty.

hahaha and it's already freezing again. I'm glad I can hear the cards being dealt in my two tournaments while my chips get blinded off. I'd pull my money, but I don't know if I can even keep the program running long enough to do that.
