I'm kind of in disbelief that 75 is in reach, given how difficult it was a short while ago to put in meaningful hours.

I guess I don't feel THAT incredulous. I once played 250,000 hands of poker in a month, and this is beyond conscious easier.

I'm tired. Going to forage some food then hit the hay.

- Play a fook-ton of poker
- Consume less than 5 Strawberry Julius' at Poker

Yeah... I really don't know what happened.

I'm not episodic, far from it actually. But I am at the height of my powers, craving to play long sessions. This hasn't been true since turning 19-years-old.

Poker's learning curve is undeniably steep, and probably under-represented by authors and coaches.

It took more than two years of play before processing the concept of folding out worse & getting called by better. I remember where that epiphany took place.

And that was a thousand cycles of knowledge ago. I can't put into words most of what I know, but I am Johnny-On-The-Spot in terms of fundamentals. A portion is understanding risk in various scenarios. There's a risk factor in my head, it's the first premise I look at before evaluating what I think is the best play.

You need to be able to hold multiple lines of thought at the same time to be good at this game.

I can't say whether the absolute value of $1/3 is "easy" or not. But to me, from the lofty perspective of my throne, it is incredibly not challenging.

I'm also not up money this month over 100 hours.

Playing 75 hours/wk through January will give a better approximation of my winrate.

I basically punted my first two months here in a purple haze of laziness. Have four months to prove myself, Let's go!!

I agree that Detroit got screwed pretty bad. There was :23 left on the clock though and Dak says he was going to go score, so it’s the same result anyway. Shrug.

I don’t even know what you’re talking about in the playoffs. Maybe I’ll google it later. I’m a Dan Campbell fan though. He used to have a weekly radio show when he played here and he seems like a really good guy and was entertaining to listen to.

The gist is Calvin Johnson was badly Randled on an important third down (no bias, he was roughed up while the ball was mid-air), a ref tossed a flag, and then said there was no penalty. Cowboys win!

Dan is great. Sheila Hamp, Lions owner, is really good at what she does.
