I managed to bill some hours today and now have to study the rest of the day and maybe tomorrow morning. From there, I'm playing in the Wynn Classic on Friday - w00t! At almost $600, it's my biggest buy-in tournament yet. But I'm feeling good about it and just want to play clear and focused poker.

Time to hit the books so I can play with nothing on my mind tomorrow.

I'm grateful for the great 2p2 guys who are sending me messages for good luck today. Thanks!

I slept great and feeling really good this morning! My mind is clear and I feel ready. I have to bill some hours this morning, so that's not ideal, but my client needs me. Heading to Wynn mid morning. Goal for today is to make it to day 2.

Woke up super early and now having the best graveyard special in all of Las Vegas. This is $5!!!!!

You haven't had a car title or deed to a house?

I busted out of the Wynn Classic event about 5 levels into it. I was completely card dead the whole time and never really got above the starting stack at all. I really just kind of had a steady decline with blinds/antes and speculative hands that I didn't continue with. My final hand was ATs with T82 board. I shoved only to run into TT - ouch!

This tournament was definitely a step up in class for me but I felt pretty good. My table had a past November Niner and bracelet holder (whom, ironically, I've played with before!) and Allyn Shulman was also briefly at my table - she busted like three hands into it! My buddy also said Carlos Mortensen was in the field, although I didn't see him myself. So, while I do wish that the cards had run a little better for me, I did feel pretty good playing in that group. I successfully pulled off a bluff against the November Niner when I represented three jacks on total air. So that was cool, but otherwise an unsuccessful result to the tourney

Golf again this morning at Tuscany. I spilled half this Gatorade all over my shirt. My buddies and I are developing a skit about Bill Mickelson, Phil's long lost brother. One of them added a funny line while I was drinking and made me spill all over. Damn today is a fun day.

Playing in the Aria 1pm right now. I'm swapping percentage with my good friend from Canada and Baconmaker is also in the room, ring games. It's nice having poker friends - today is a great day.
