I played all 100 games and ended up losing money and quitting MTTs for good. I'll be repaying the $10 + 10% as soon as I get it, but not until 7-14. Thanks for the stake and making me realize how ridiculous MTTs are.

As a long time Bandi fan, I assure you his leaks could only be plugged with something like a full frontal lobotomy. Needless to say someone who tilts on the drop of a dime (literally, lol) lacks the emotional control to ever be profitable, let alone hone their game enough to understand poker on a strategic level. I guess no one clued Bandi in that all the sick drawouts he thinks he takes are actually common for everybody and that making deep runs in MTTs requires you to get lucky even when you get it in as an enormous favorite every time (which you can't always do).

The only trait that Bandi does have that would be considered a plus is his inexplicable dedication. He can be +EV in these microstakes games despite being absolutely godawful at poker because he tries so hard, so much against opponents who are like AFK or otherwise just trying to lose. After a while it just gets kind of sad, so much misdirected effort. It's like watching a one-legged man trying to train for the marathon. Bandi's just so deluded about his own abilities and stories of people who run up large sums of money out of nearly nothing in Chris Ferguson-esque fashion, probably a result of overestimating his own intelligence thinking that if he's smarter than all these people that there's no reason he can't do what they've done.

They also know your poker skills aren't good. I highly doubt the guy that sent you the $10 expected anything from it and did it just for entertainment.

what good can ur word be when u roll a stake, just cuz u play for cheeseburgers doesnt mean they dont go stale. one day u will fly bandi

just my two cents, but hey thats about ur average buyin.

Isn't a stake an arrangement where the staker doesn't get repaid 110% if the stakee goes bust? I guess this is a bandi-stake where profit is guaranteed*.

Bandichime, just learn too beat 2NL. It is so freakin easy to beat that level it makes me cry.

Srsly wtf, just play full ring, WAIT FOR GOOD HANDS, raise big preflop whenever you get them, bet bet shove when you hit.

Oh limp in pots with tons of limpers with pocket pairs for sets. When you hit your set: bet bet shove. it's sooooooooooooo easy to win.

sometimes when I'm on tilt I will 24 table 2NL and in 1 hour I will be up like 12$ or something every time i do it. And that's playing on TILT! You don't need good stratgey to win there, all you need is 'me have good hand? then me bet for value every street zug zug'

24 table FR?
07-21-2009 , 06:25 AM

yea, if your going to start though try 9 or something. You need a lot because it's boring siting there and waiting for good hands.

Remember the real key is to raise your big hands BIG preflop! You need to experiment with large preflop raises to see what it takes to get all but 1 or 2 limpers out of your pot.

Even if you have AA, you gotta raise really big. It's ok if you lose all your action because it's so important that you isolate down to 1 person before the flop comes.

Edit: oh and don't limp anything except pocket pairs and maybe Ax suited in late position when there are a bunch of limper in front.

^ v. true, listen to this bandi and stop w/yr bull****. poker = a lot of really hard work and dedication, without $$$ results for years.

and i don't mean the kind of hard work and dedication u show/do
07-21-2009 , 11:40 PM
not trying to tell you what to do or anything bandichime, but i would rly consider listening to this guy. there is not really any reason you cannot beat (or learn to) beat nl2.
