Ok guys I just got off the phone (37mins) for the second time with wsop customer service...and let me tell you what a waste of time..I mostly sat on hold only for some chick to tell me "wait a couple days and try again" I almost lost it and remembered it just a silly ol' card game lol but seriously cant believe how I never had a problem with the old locator and now they try this new WiFi crap and poof cant verify my location...apparently this new WiFi locator is supposed to bring more players who previously had problems to the tables but that's no good if existing players cant play....feel free to post if any of you guys have had the same issues...

yep, garbage site allowed me to buy in, rebuy and add on to the 2K then kicked me off and haven't been able to log in since. WSOP is a disgrace to online poker. No support. No technical advisors. No working product. It's a joke.

WSOP needs to admit the problem is on there side and stop blaming customers for issues they don't care to fix....

lol

you guys should get together somewhere, have coffee, and tell each other how unlucky you've been. It'll validate where you are in life

As opposed to what? Trolling the internet throwing useless barbs at people with legitimate concerns? WSOP took my money for a tourney, then kicked me off for not being able to geo locate. This would be ok with you? You should pour hot coffee on your face, it will validate your IQ score.

I'm in the same boat. Played for a year with no problems at all, haven't been able to get on since.

Did they tell you that your issue was being escalated to technical support also?
That's what I was told a couple weeks ago and don't even know if they are doing anything. No word from technical support and no response to emails asking for a status.

No. I can geolocate on my laptop from my apt but am still unable from my girlfriends house, which is where I mostly am. Its been over a month now and not a peep support after numerous calls and emails.

Its been 2 months now since the new geolocation has kept me from playing from where I mostly am. Every week or so i call or email support and am told that technical support is working on it but for some reason technical support has been working on my problem for 2 months but havent contacted once with any questions or updates. Pretty clear I am being jerked around. Very disappointing an active, platinum level player would be treated like this. Do any strip casinos have booths where I could talk to someone who may be interested in helping me? WSOPBill obviously doesnt care to

not sure if this will work...

if using XP OS you might have to update the service pack...

Make sure LTE is turned off on your phone! If my phone has LTE switched on, it rarely successfully verifies my location. Hope this helps.

Anyone else been having problems geolocating since last night? After having problems for a while I had been playing with no issues for a month until yesterday.

Yes

CS keeps telling me it's not a problem at all, all I need to do is close the client & txt the geolocation number.

Their cs is a complete joke. They just keep going in circles telling me I cant geolocate because I am using a proxy server after Ive told them multiple times I am not Im in a house with standard cox wireless internet and WSOPBill has completely ignored this thread for months.
