How to turn off LTE on Samsung 5 (T-Mobile)?

I just switched to T-Mobile from Verizon and got a new Samsung S5 phone but when I attempt to log in into "WSOP.com", I get an error message saying "Your mobile device appears to be located outside of Nevada,..." etc. I already turned off my LTE (I believe), by going into "Settings->More Networks" and switching to GSM only, I re-sent the "YES" message to 47774, I restarted both my cell phone and my computer, and yet I still cannot connect.
I already called the support but the lady on the phone said she did not know how to deal with new S5 phones. I am stuck and do not know how to proceed.
Any help is appreciated!

It sounds like you ported your number. It has nothing to do with your phone and only has to do with the network. Allow 48 hours for a full port to happen then you are good to go.

I still cannot geo-locate. I tried EVERYTHING: turning off my 4G/LTE, re-sending messages, calling wsop.com support twice and calling T-Mobile support.
It still tells me I am not in Nevada, while I am obviously in Nevada... Stuck.

rewrite your phone number on the client so it 'bounces' the signal again and LEAVE YOUR 4G ON and it should work..... same thing happened to me just make sure your 4g is on! I know it says to turn it off but dont....
(of course im assuming your GPS is on too)
