Unknown villain. Doesn't seem like a lagfish.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $3(BB) Replayer
SB ($130)
Hero ($185)
UTG ($160)
UTG+1 ($172)
CO ($93.69)
BTN ($162)

Dealt to Hero T 5
fold, fold, CO raises to $6, fold, fold, Hero calls $3

FLOP ($13.50) 9 5 9
Hero checks, CO bets $3,Hero raises to $6, CO calls $3

TURN ($25.50) 9 5 9 4
Hero bets $6, CO calls $6

RIVER ($37.50) 9 5 9 4 8
Hero checks, CO bets $6,

Agree or disagree with me on some assumptions...

Villain gets to the river with ace hi or weaker hands (even though he should be folding the turn).
Villain will bet these same hands cause he pushes buttons erratically.
Hero needs to c/c getting 7:1.

Meh, I don't like calling here. From his perspective, your draws got there with that river card yet he still bets when checked to. It would take a read of "turns showdownable hands into bluffs" for me to call.

"Villain gets to the river with ace hi or weaker hands (even though he should be folding the turn)."
-Yes, but mostly those containing a diamond. If he does not have a diamond, it is probably upper end of Ax, like AQ/AK that he is getting married to.

"Villain will bet these same hands cause he pushes buttons erratically. "
-I am not sure how often that "if" is true @ 3/6.

"Villain doesn't seem like a lagfish."

With this read, as weak as it is, I have a hard time finding a hand we beat here. When he calls the turn he has a diamond a lot, along with pairs you lose to and occasionally ace high, although I tend to think ace high folds a lot on this turn. There's also some draws that connect with the 4 and 5 that made it on the river.

On the river, I'd imagine he doesn't expect you to fold a lot since it should be pretty apparent you have something at this point, so I wouldn't expect him to be turning ace high into a bluff. Its quite a parlay for him to not only have called the turn with a naked ace, but to have bet it on the river. And 7-1 odds really isn't anything to get excited about in this situation. Give me 10-1 and I suppose I'd call, although it would still be close.

Your soul is gonna be super crushed when you c/c and he tables 78 no diamond. This is one spot where I don't really care if he bluffed me, and I usually steam for a good 5 minutes otherwise.

i think i x/f, but i'm having a hard time deciding what i would do with my entire range here.

I think check/fold here is fine. Most hands that peel the turn are draws that hit the river in some way or already beat your pair. Don't know if you could bet the river and turn your hand into a bluff. It would take a read for me to do anything here besides check/folding.
