Ulgy laydown or good fold on the river? Ulgy laydown or good fold on the river?

Unfortunately, no stats on opps yet.

3/6 Limit Holdem
6 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($375.25)
UTG+1 ($136.33)
CO ($109.50)
Hero ($195.62)
SB ($92.49)
BB ($180.00)

Pre-flop: (1.5 SB, 6 players) Hero is BTN J Q
3 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls

Flop: 4 J 2 (6.0 SB, 3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls

Turn: 5 (4.5 BB, 3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB raises, Hero calls, SB calls
It was kind a "WTF?! call" for me

River: 6 (10.5 BB, 3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero folds
I decided to fold because he bets into 2 players on scary board (sign of strength, isn't it? )

Thank you in advance for your comments on this play!

BB's line is strong, but he can play a worse Jx like this for value. Its also possible that he's making a big semi-bluff. Furthermore, SB is unlikely to have you beat. Just pay this one off and expect to lose most of the time.

I cant fold this vs an unknown. I wish i was good enough

I agree calling the river here is right, but is folding the turn here terrible? It seems to me that, except for maniacs, the turn CR into two opponents is almost always showing better than top pair. I'm not wild about putting 2 BB in here.

Turn c/r of the field here usually mean we're well beat (by my experience). I think I'd like to fold the turn as we're probably drawing dead - although against unknowns I'd hate it. HU I'd can't fold but 3-way I'll just hope that SB pays his way to SD.

As played by OP, I'm calling the river.

I don't think anybody on this forum folds top pair on the turn.
