Villain is madscout. I didnt have enough hands to have any stats on him but ptr says hes pretty sick.

Hand #1:

Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is CO with A 5
2 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls

Flop: (4.5 SB) Q 9 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls

Turn: (4.25 BB) 5 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls

River: (6.25 BB) 8 (2 players)
BB bets, Hero folds

Hand #2 happened after i played 2 more hands with villain and never made it to showdown. I had never made it to showdown so far out of 5 hands with him.

Poker Stars $10/$20 Limit Hold'em - 3 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is BB with K T
1 fold, SB raises, Hero calls

Flop: (4 SB) J T 9 (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls

Turn: (3 BB) 7 (2 players)
SB bets, Hero?

Thoughts on both hands? I normally dont post 2 hands together but there was a bit of history.

I was an unknown to him but i had basically put in action on flop/turns and folded rivers in blind battles. I thought i looked weak.

I agree with how you played the 1st hand. If villain raised the flop with a draw then the 8 on the river hit his hand (no matter which draw he had). So your pair of 5s is no longer good.

2nd hand: I would have raised preflop; your hand is better than his range and you have position. I also probably would have raised the flop to take initiative. After the turn I probably just call down (certainly because we've folded a couple of hands in a row).

I was planning on raising a blank turn on the 2nd hand. Of course everything went to ****. Is that better than raising flop?

For the 2nd hand, I would raise the flop - too drawy there to wait for turn where if a bad card comes, I'm doing too much guessing.
