villain is 54/31/1.33 but likes to donk in weird spots and can get spazzy. too much action? i was planning on semibluffing some turns but this one didn't seem like a good spot; anyone disagree?

flop call is debatable but id still peel

turn is fine with another guy behind (not saying i would raise if it was hu)

river once he 3bets you just call. you're not winning the pot outright so call for a chop. by capping you're sticking more money in with the best case scenario of getting half the pot, worse case scenario he gets is all

Kind of a way to butcher your straight did you not see them 3 spades out thurr

flop - I peel this if I'm last to act, but with the chance to get c/red by sb I think this is too lose of a peel
turn - if BB donks air and draws a lot I'm raising it, I think this can actually be a decent spot to fsdr here with Qhi, you get a chance to fold sb with a weak made hand or weak draw or whatever equity he has, and there's a chance that BB has air or a worse draw and you either win the pot right there or win at the river when check behind, and you have decent equity even if you get called or raised
river is pretty gross when he 3bets, I think I choose to cap or not to cap depending on how spazzy he is, considering that he could have easily donked with 9T or a bdfd+pair and the 4straight board must look really scary for him to 3bet even a set for value, I probably wouldn't cap unless he is completely nuts

That donk on the flop means he wants you to raise. You're definitely behind and with no clear draws I think you should fold.

All in all: PF is fine, after that the hand gets uglier and uglier. Calling station up until the river where you spewed with a cap.

Sorry for the harsh words, but I felt I had to be honest. This hand is a trainwreck.

jung theres no way you can say that without a read his donk means he wants to b/3b. donk bets can mean a wide variety of things from being a strong hand, bottom pair, a draw or pure air.

a statement like yours is a little silly hence daiquri's "lol" post

this villain is a huge dummy he is not thinking like "I want him to raise so I can b3b" or "he can help me protect my hand by facing sb with a raise" or stuff like that, he can be donking for various reasons but if they have one thing in common, it's usually that he has no clue why exactly he is doing it. A statement like yours, in case of a guy like this, really cracks me up.

I agree. A donk means a lot of things. I'm semi coaching my boss and he is a horrible donker. I can't get him to stop. He donks all types of things including double backdoor air. People who donk frequently don't play well. I'd turbo peel flop and on the river I'd call the 3 bet and not cap.

call river 3bet since even spazzy villains slow down with sets/two pair with 4-straight and flush on the board,.

even I peel this flop

i just call the river 3bet unless I have seen him go mental on the river before.

Can he explain his reasoning when he donk ?

even if the board didnt have spades i still just call the river 3bet, since T9 is in his range

"double backdoor air" needs more love. And you just described about 10% of the people I play teh pokars against.
