BB is 30/24 TAG. Is there any value in a bet? I can safely fold in this protected pot i assume. Thoughts

there may be thin value in a bet because he can call here with stuff like AJ, AT, AQ. but i bypass this value because i can't stand getting raised here.

how are we supposed to react to a raise here? we think fold because we assume straightforward play on this board by this player, but the problem is that not everyone plays straightforward and even if we recognize some players play this way, they don't play this way all the time. therefore, b/f here can amount to be a huge mistake.

so i c/c river. some of the value lost here by not betting here is somewhat offset anyway by worse hands betting this.

It's very unlikely that a 30/24 failed to raise any of those hands preflop.

I do like the way OP's river play b/c there are enough 2 pair hands that will puke and call your river bet. But there's very little to bluff at and it doesn't look like you're going to fold, so folding to the raise is fine.

Folding to a worse hand is not the same as folding away the whole pot because the all-in player could still have you beat. Folding to a worse hand is probably = folding away 75% of the pot. This doesn't make much difference, but it's still something to think about.

i'm not sure he raises ATo at all and I'm not sure he raises AJo 100%. i agree he prolly raises AQ a lot though.

mp could have anything. shortstacks can play desperate and dumb. there's plenty here to bluff at. the fact that the pot is "protected" means that a villain's bluff can have even more fe in the end, no?

i think b/f is the worst option since is the only option where folding the 3rd nuts is actually considered.

I originally wrote a reply saying that I bluff-raise this river a lot (as villain), but it's not a good spot. He has a K like 100% of the time and your line is fine.
