Range for button raises in 6max game when folded around Range for button raises in 6max game when folded around

1-Online, 6max, folded around to button. What's my raising range?

2-Also BB 67s, folded to button, button raises, SB folds. What's my best play? If it IS to play back and 3bet, how do I proceed on flop, turn and river?

1) depends. stox's book is a good start for some ranges.
2) depends.

Good players are usually between 45-55% btn open.

76s is a bit low but if u can exploit it could work out. T9s is usually a 3!

1. it depends on the players in the blinds.

2. i don't 3bet anything in the bb hu vs. a btn open.

1. It doesn't depend as much as other people are saying it depends.

2. It depends on your style. If you do 3 bet try not to fold too often post-flop.

Doesńt limit matter ??

Personnaly from micro i d prefer some not so wide open range due to no foldem holdem type of game....

1) 40-65% I'd say. Lots of this depends on who is in the blinds and how to optimally exploit them. Blind structure also matters considerably. Another thing to take into account is your ability to play marginal hands and use position to your advantage. Stakes matter as well which I will address further later in this post...

2) I never 3 bet in the big blind vs any position with any hand. I sacrifice some preflop edge in order to hide my range and bring consistency and unpredictability to my postflop play from this disadvantageous table position.

No fold'em hold'em is not the reason you'd care. Hell, at higher stakes, we show down 45% pretty regularly so that's not any different from the micros.

You'd open less because the rake is higher proportionally to the stakes played. Thus, if one has to overcome a constant 5% drain on your edge over other players due to rake, one can not afford to play the more marginal holdings that will never achieve a huge edge. Thus, at the micros, you'd play tighter (sub optimal poker in general, yet optimized for this specific game).

Thanx for your answer.

Rgarding the quote. Don't you think this is fine vs winning regulars only ? The only ones they take care about how you play ?

If I notice someone is an absolute preflop spazz, and we'll be in a heads up pot, I'll go ahead and start 3Betting the higher end of my range and a small contingent of SC and whatnot to balance. I do this more on Networks like Merge with uncapped raises heads up though so that I can give someone an opportunity to go click crazy. (<3 those rare guys who will go 8 or 10 pre with Q8s and rando garbage)

Otherwise, I still prefer the balance of not 3towning from the BB.
