Sb is a lag.
Co is fish
Btn is a lag.

Full Tilt 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, K.
2 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 4, T, J (4 players)
SB bets, [color=#CC3333]Hero....

What are the arguments for raising vs calling?

I'm generally raising here. You have huge equity against the combined 4 ranges, so get your value now. Pretty much any hand that was going to call one is going to call 2 on this board in hopes of spiking a huge pot, so no need to smooth call. It is troublesome that SB donked into 3 players, which shows a lot of strength imo, but even so you still have good equity against a set/2pr.

FWIW, I'm calling down if it's cheap if I spike a king or queen, and folding the river if I have one pair and there was heavy turn action.

I disagree with raising here. I think the major distinction I have with VU is that I think a raise will be succesful in driving out players. I think this hand is a textbook hand for playing a draw abc.

However that does raise an interesting question, if all palyers flat call flop and turn is ACE and SB leads out. Raise or call? I usually raise but wonder to myself if I should be calling.

Raising is nice because unless your opponents have gunk, you're going to get everybody coming along.
