BB is 39/0/1 over 20 hands.

The table just went from 5 to 3 with sitouts.

Poker Stars $0.50/$1.00 Limit Hold'em - 3 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Pre Flop: (1.5 SB) Hero is SB with 8 Q
1 fold, Hero raises, BB calls

Flop: (4 SB) 7 T 4 (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls

Turn: (3 BB) J (2 players)
Hero bets?

Bet good? What's my plan for the rest of this business?

I would bet the gs here, there is no real danger of getting raised by this guy.
I would fire river again ui on a brick river.

If river is an 8, I'll C/C.

welcome to everyday of my life.

i have no clue what to do here, since most of the hand he peeled with hit something, and you are going to get raised, butyou can't check call.

I'd jsut bet, and if raised, call and hope to hit something.

to the other guy, if you hit an 8, and check, you get pounded by better hands, and worse hands check behind, so if you river an 8, and check, it better be to c/f

bet any river that improves you if he just calls the turn. if the river is a 2, i guess c/f

I think all of your options suck. I probably bet-fold.

I'm aware of the overcard and gutter, but I'm assuming an 0.5/1 player with passive-ish stats isn't ambushing the turn with, like, bottom pair very often. Nevertheless, the turn decision after getting raised does seem irritatingly close to me.
