I would appreciate some comments on whether I was right to fold this. Obvioulsy when the river came I was pretty p***** at what I'd done. Thanks.

Without any reads, I would play the same. You have the third pair in a 3-way pot with not even one clean out.

Also don't post the results.

Yeah, this is a perfectly reasonable fold.
