I almost didnt post this because I dont think i'll run into this spot again. I still think the turn is kind of an interesting spot though.

Villain is a 45/25/1.5 LAG. No notes.

It is the bottom of your range in sb against a lag ?

I call the turn, you can drawing dead but he has often draw. I call most rivers.

c/f the turn time.

i hope "oops" is in reference to a misclick

This is a spot that depends on two things:

1) his WTSD%
2) his capablility/frequency of turn spewage.

If he spews the turn hard a lot, just call down.
If hes somewhat foldy for a LAG and doesnt turn spew (uncommon), c/r the turn and bet most rivers.

if you dont know his tendencies id just call down, fold if the board straightens.

Id probabily donk a river king/queen...

I dont fold pairs in bloated pots vs LAGs.. and it works pretty well for me.

Oh and fold PF

I think pf is fine. There is a little RIO with this hand, but there is enough tilt implied odds for the lag on our right to offset that.

Folding the turn should be out of the question against this guy

he has a flush draw or 98 or T8 here often enough for me to call turn and reevaluate. I have 5 outs if behind and the best hand often enough when river is a 2, 3, 4, J, Q, K, A

Dunno how much it helps.

But this is vs any reasonable flush or straight draw and made hand

Board: 4h 6c 7h Ad
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 25.819% 25.27% 00.55% 2190 48.00 { 4d2s }
Hand 1: 74.181% 73.63% 00.55% 6382 48.00 { TT-22, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, A7s-A4s, Ah3h, Ah2h, KhJh, KhTh, Kh9h, Kh8h, K7s-K4s, Kh3h, Kh2h, QhJh, QhTh, Qh9h, Qh8h, Q7s-Q4s, Qh3h, Qh2h, JhTh, Jh9h, Jh8h, J7s-J4s, Th9h, Th8h, T7s, 96s+, 85s+, 75s+, 65s, 54s, A7o-A6o, A4o, K7o-K6o, 98o, 87o }

And a funny example with KQ

Board: 4h 6c 7h Ad
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 25.819% 25.27% 00.55% 2190 48.00 { 4d2s }
Hand 1: 74.181% 73.63% 00.55% 6382 48.00 { TT-22, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, A7s-A4s, Ah3h, Ah2h, KhJh, KhTh, Kh9h, Kh8h, K7s-K4s, Kh3h, Kh2h, QhJh, QhTh, Qh9h, Qh8h, Q7s-Q4s, Qh3h, Qh2h, JhTh, Jh9h, Jh8h, J7s-J4s, Th9h, Th8h, T7s, 96s+, 85s+, 75s+, 65s, 54s, A7o-A6o, A4o, K7o-K6o, 98o, 87o }

11-11-2007 , 09:53 PM
huh?

Did I miss something obvious?
11-11-2007 , 10:12 PM
Level? You posted two identical stove results
11-11-2007 , 10:36 PM
LOL. I am a copy paste fish.

Anyway. KQo had about 20% eq on the turn against the same range
11-12-2007 , 06:15 AM
you might aswell c/r the turn while you are at it
11-12-2007 , 12:46 PM
Might as well call down I suppose, given a relativly safe river card, but I can't imagine c/r this turn given that he will call with any hand that has plenty of redraws (or possibly call you down with a 6 or 7) and raise you with any hand that has you beat, at which point you have to decide if he's just a maniac and call him down or fold, but if you call him down in this example I think your just paying him off.
