MP is 45/18 after 40 hands
BB is an unknown

I think I should have checked the flop and value bet the river. Is it right?

I would have played this the same. That's a good flop for you. Why would you check?

I was thinking the very low fold equity.

yeah, youre probably not getting anything to fold, KJ JT and A5 all will call(gutshot!). so its basically a valuebet

Why no river bet? Can't a worse A or K-high call here? Or is no other worse hand ever calling?

river bet would be awful imo.

The parlay that you A) have the best hand and B) they'll call with worse is way too much with 2 other people in the pot. Heck I wouldn't value bet this river with just one other player in the hand.

also to OP, not betting this flop is a big mistake. You are ahead of their range, and they at least we know MP is LP so bet here to charge them for 6 out draws (or get them to mistakenly fold) and get value for your hand.
