lol wow just looked at this - I was wasted actually trying to think what would be worse than 76 and I thought 73 was the same hand because the 6/3 didn't play

It eliminates the step of clicking on "OK" when the window pops up asking your buy in amount. As Le Pasta said, though, I used it for a while and turned it off because if I'm on a waitlist and a bad seat opens up on the table, I like to lick on the seat, then hit "cancel" when it asks my buy in because this makes it easy to get back on the wait list.

ah ok ty, and yeah i figured this out just lately (used to wait the minute and then reenter the waiting list, lol).

How does licking the seat make it easier to get on the wait list?
09-11-2010 , 03:59 PM
Why are there good players at my $215 LHE tourney table? I thought these were supposed to be super soft. Is it because of the WCOOP?
09-11-2010 , 04:02 PM
The weekly or the WCOOP, GB?

I'm embarrassed to say I thought the same thing, read your post and was like, "What? Oh. Yeah, I'm an idiot."

I'm in the weekly, but only because I'm playing the WCOOP later, so I figure maybe a bunch of other LHE players are doing the same. A few more unknowns just showed up at my table, though, so maybe I just got an unlucky draw (sitting between efficacy and Valesco Jr., couple other solid players at the table).

more and more regs posting dead money today
09-11-2010 , 04:12 PM
I just read in High Stakes limit a post by highly-credible poster FreddieWilliams that indicates the weekly tournament is full of grinders.

I had no idea players as skilled as Valesco, Jr participated though

u click the seat, than cancel and the "join waiting list" btn appear again and u click it on the table rather than find the table on the lobby list.

It kinda depends? And by that I mean I have no freaking clue.

Oh, I was just making fun of the licking.

Also, the WCOOP looks like a fish fest so far. First hand, guy cold calls my EP 3-bet, then folds a 273r flop. 4 ways to flop = awesomeness.

No complaints here about the toughness of my WCOOP table. Fair amount of cold calling and folding to flop continuation bets in big pots on innocuous boards. LOL NL players. OMG he 3 bet!!!

Just until you run out of chips. Varies from player to player.
09-11-2010 , 05:25 PM
Oh poop I forgot the whole event. I could have probably sold 50% of my action to a friend. Oh well my track record for the ftops lhe is like 0/5 and thats full on nl morons too so.. I'm probably better off going to bed anyway.
