i know, that seems weird. part of the major appeal of gettin SNE from my perspective would be getting like 40% more FPP's the following year. most people that do all the "SNE isnt worth it" calculations forget how much u would add the following year from this. i have heard from a few sne's however that they get so burnt out achieving it they lose it within a few months the next year, and i never really considered that factor

off topic, **** all u california bastards. im jealous u can cash out with echecks and get $$$ in 2 days. in florida echecks are no longer an option and ive been tryin to get money since i cashed out on the first. i wish i had paid the $15 dollar fee and wired the money when it was put back into my account, but i was too cheap and am waiting for a paper check now, hopefully todays the day. ill definitely wire my 200k vpp bonus next week

don't forget us europeans with our moneybooker accounts
11-17-2010 , 11:49 AM
I only use moneybookers mastercard cashouts as an emergency option if I need to access my poker monies asap for some reason, cause they **** me with the exhange rate to my local currency (yeah we still don't have euros lol) plus they even charge a few euros at every atm cashout afaik. Cashing out to visa card from stars = the nuts, 2 days and costs nothing.

you should be happy to not have the euro atm. just look at greece, ireland, portugal or spain. they are all in deep ****.

i love moneybookers since i play on many sites and therefore often need to move money quickly.

I'm looking to get a VIP Pro Gambler account on moneybookers

What's the reason for a euro stars player to use moneybookers? PS will cash me out direct to bank account, no fees, EUR > EUR to my euro account, GBP > GBP for my UK account, cash in account within 48 hours, tyvm

I use MB for sites that won't do me free wire transfers (i have a bit more trust in them now i've got my MB RSA token), but i don't see any reason to use them for Stars transfers.

afaik my payments done to my bank accounts always took some days

in comparison, MB takes some hours on stars

i live in luxembourg. big finance place, but apparently not big enough to speed up the payments

apart from that a MB account helps me separate my poker money from my other money

Right, but once you get the money in MB, to actually access it you have to then do a wire transfer to a real bank account, which will take the same time and occurs fees.

I guess if you are moving money from one site to another it does make sense.

for me the advantage of MB is, if I for some reason need money faster than 2 days (some emergency stuff) stars to mb or fulltilt to mb is usually instant (and by mean instant I mean I click the button and bamm it's there) and then I can instantly use it with the moneybookers mastercard. so it's almost like having a debit card for my stars account.

Same here, but I use Neteller. Less fees than at MoneyBookers
I usually just go to ATM and cash out the max amount - €750 with 4€ fee.
Rake everywhere
11-17-2010 , 01:52 PM
mb caps the cashout charge at 1,8 eur so it's actually half of neteller's fee :P for me the problem is the uncapped 2% fx charge which is a robbery.
11-17-2010 , 02:55 PM
1,8EUR, but maximum payout is 250EUR, right?
11-17-2010 , 03:02 PM
you euros with a decimal "comma" instead of a decimal point drive me nuts

I think so but I think it also depends on your account status, at least that's what they say

the whole world is using the comma, it was the british who thought it would be a good idea to drive on the wrong side of the road and start using decimal points and stupid bs like that. then you cowboys inherited it when you sailed off to hunt indians. but the comma is the real deal.

decimal system --> decimal point

how can this be unclear?

Also, we like both kinds of music here. Country and Western.

pretty sure the americans drive on the right side not the left

and left side driving is the nuts
11-17-2010 , 09:51 PM
pretty sure if you weren't drunk you'd have realized I only meant the decimal point was inherited
11-17-2010 , 09:54 PM
pretty sure if u could speak proper english i would have understood

Last edited by kikadell; 11-17-2010 at 09:55 PM. Reason: left side driving is still awesome
