Tiger Woods seriously hurt in car accident

Golf superstar Tiger Woods has been seriously injured in a car accident near Orlando, according to a report from Florida Highway Patrol.

The report says Woods pulled out of his driveway in his 2009 black Cadillac Escalade at around 2:30 a.m. ET on Friday, struck a fire hydrant and then a tree at his neighbour's property.

No other vehicles were involved.

Woods, 33, was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee in serious condition.

The crash remains under investigation, the report said, adding it wasn't alcohol-related and was not known whether Woods was wearing a seatbelt.

He owns a home in the exclusive subdivision of Isleworth, near Orlando. Orange County property records indicate his home is valued at $2.4 million US.

Woods is one of the greatest golfers in history, currently the top pro on the PGA Tour, and one of the most recognized athletes in the world.

His historic wins and accolades are numerous. Woods has 14 major championships to his credit, second only to golfing great Jack Nicklaus (18).

He's also the only golfer to win the four major championships in succession, winning the US Open, British Open, and PGA Championship in 2000, and taking the Masters in 2001.

Woods has 71 PGA Tour wins (third all-time), and 93 tournaments overall. He owns the lowest career scoring average and the most career earnings of any player in PGA Tour history.

In the summer, Forbes Magazine pegged Woods to become the world's first billionaire athlete, due to his incredible golf success and lucrative corporate partnerships.

Woods has more than $100 million US in career winnings, and has reportedly made over $750 million US in his career from endorsement contracts.

Not saying unguarded isnt very good, cause Im sure he is.
Just saying there is variance in LHE and I have yet to see one player beat 10/20 and 15/30 for more than 2BB over large samples these days.
I would love for him to prove me wrong though.

Villain is Heis. We have a fair amount of history together...he admits that he gets more tricky vs me than others, and I agree...he also knows i'm super ABC. Thoughts on river? I tanked for a good 10-12 seconds.

He's certainly the greatest of all time.

I disagree that Nicklaus won a lot because no one else was really good. One of his rivals was Tom Watson, who must have been pretty good in his prime since he lost in a playoff this year at age 60 in the British Open.

Is donking out 75%+ of flops part of his general strategy or does that mean he is still on tilt?
11-28-2009 , 06:41 AM
Heh, more like b/3b turn, c/r river bluffs
