the thing that makes me the most mad about this hand is I was going to just call the river no matter what and then my fingers gravitated to raise when I saw the King.

no story really, just summed up my bank accounts + online money and it is less that 200k. Not really sure where all that money went. I guess if you include the 40k my parents owe me it's over half, but I can't for the life of me figure out where I spent 175k. I guess money evaporates sometimes.

If you could remember how you'd spent it all then you'd have spent it wrong.

Tonight I was stuck 3k and running godawful playing live 40/80 when it appeared our 4 handed game (Me, MitchL, two random old guys) was about to break because old guys wanted to leave (outclassed obv)

Enter wannabe thug pale-skinned white boy carrying around a nice wad of cash and several $1k Venetian chips. He jumps in and plays 3 handed with me and Mitch. Mitch runs fairly bad (And gets kind of owned by me while the deck hits me in the face a bit), and decides to quit.

Whitey and I play huhu for about 20 minutes, I take about 25 bets from him, and he quits me. Final tally for the night is +$500

eta: It is irresponsible of me to be calling anyone a pale-skinned white boy, since I slightly resemble that. Nonetheless, I'm sticking with it

Posted this in Micro Stakes yesterday, because it's (in terms of net $) the third-biggest hand I ever played (biggest was at NL50, second-biggest at 3$/6$).

Preflop cap raised a few eyebrows with the FR nits.

BB bets, MP calls, CO calls, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, MP calls, CO calls, Hero caps, BB calls, MP calls, CO calls

Turn: J (Pot: 16.25 BB - 4 players)
BB bets, MP folds, CO calls, Hero calls

River: A (Pot: 19.25 BB - 3 players)

Nah, not irresponsible at all. Your story paints a picture and pale-faced white guy did nicely.

My shortest 300K guaranteed so far. 15 minutes in, 74 vs 44 on 742 flop.

You've made 400k since 2004 and spent 175? this seems like a quite standard living expense... now, if it was 175 in one or two years with no major purchases then that's something else..

edit, this is tryptamean btw.. on my buddy's pc..

yeah it's pretty standard, but I'm only 21 so my living expenses were very low until recently. Plus I don't really ball outta control, but meh w/e. I guess taxes + part of college + loan to parents + food + travel etc adds up.

I'd like to thank the collective player base of PokerStars mid-stakes for buying me something special this June:

Putting in a good volume of hands on the weekends just got a lot more difficult.

Dear poker gods,
I am not sure what ive done to offend you, but clearly I have.

I cannot take your vengeful wrath any longer. I have had breakdowns, I have broken my guitar hero guitar, and most importantly I am beginning to go busto.

All I ask of you is to occasionally let me win a big pot that I am 90% favorite to win, or possibly not have my opponents hit sets on the river vs me 4 times a session. It's very difficult to win with all the obstacles you put on me.

I beg of you, I am willing to do whatever it takes.... just please stop me having to go through this.. I cant do it any longer..

Posting graphs before seems to have pleased you in the past so, I will post again, hoping you read these forums.

Your faithful servant, Heisenb3rg

Tough downswing Heis. I hope it will end soon.

Heis,

I notice you have the WSDWRR (Won $ at SD when raising river) stat up on your PT3 report

What are your thoughts on this stat? I see yours is 66.67%, which seems theoretically perfect. Is having a value higher than that indicative of a leak, or is the real leak having a lower value?

I think it gets tricky to quantify. If it is as simple as you raise, they call, you win 67% of the time, than you make an extra +.44 bets.

However, if they 3bet you, you now have to factor in your chances of winning. Furthermore, the lower your chances of winning this street are, the higher they must be when you raise and they just call.

If you figure out all that math, you then have to readjust the figures for when you cap and have the best hand.

None of which takes raise/fold and bet/fold into consideration.

sounds like a project for some math machine. any takers?

no sit n gos and very tilty, i am losing alot to FTP pro markus lehmann who is possibly the worst mid-stakes limit player i have ever sat with

he is cold capping hands like 54o PF, 4 betting flop 4 ways with BPNK, if you want money challenge me HU, very frustrated i have only won 3 pots in 2 hours at 3 total tables.
