Of course he is. And lol, calling the people who post here a bunch of has-been players and trolls isn't anything besides trolling itself. I mean wtf is that supposed to accomplish if not to piss people off? Luckily I'm much more of a never-was than a has-been but if I were one of the guys like you or Trypt or Hen or the others who regularly post here, and who has the brains and has made the effort to actually be good at poker, I'd be slightly annoyed.

Further, just because people here aren't afraid to disagree strongly with others doesn't make us a bunch of trolls imo. We're all big boys and girls with above-average IQs. We should be able to handle the fact that other intelligent people can oppose our views and sometimes know more than we do about certain things, without getting all upset and calling everyone names. If I say something stupid I'd much rather have it pointed out to me than continue living in the dark. Nobody's right all the time.

He's definitely right in the sense that this thread used to be way better. However, I still read every post because I cling to the past.

I work for a small scenic flight operation in NZ. I fly the airplanes, do the marketing, a bit of bookkeeping. It's hard work for not much money (today's my first day off in two weeks) but it's ****ing awesome. The flying is varied and challenging and the people I work with are great.

Would definitely love to get a pilot's license someday. Assuming you know how to fly, can you just rent a plane to take out for the day or do you need to buy your own?
