You start the game with some worker units and a base. The worker units can gather resources. They can use those resources to build unit-creation buildings and unit-upgrade buildings.

Once you've got a unit-creation building you can start using resources to build units. Early units are basic and weak, later game units are stronger and have special abilities but require more resources to build.

I agree with you here. When I have no notes or color assigned to a player and I see them limp or cold call in the first 10 hands I just automatically give them a green sticker. If it turns out that they actually play well, then I can change it later; however, the amount of first assumptions that have proven correct >>>>>>>> exceed those that had to be changed.

I do recall at least one instance of seeing a green sticker player in lobby sitting 100-200 waiting for HU and wondering why he had no action. Before playing him I saw he was also waiting for action at 2-4, 5-10, and 1k-2k and realized a probably made a mistake.
