Mad_C = Crazy_Guus

changed in January

not 100% sure
05-23-2008 , 04:59 AM
Hmm

Sounds about right

They play much the same except Crazy_Guus was a 28/22 in my db and Mad_C_ is 25/18. Both over large samples

Last week, thursday + friday. Ran okey.

I know solid_p and oink are very sick players, but I get so upset every time I see party graphs and realize I can't play there, I might be able to make half this in a week if allowed

New promo

Looks awesome. Basically points = cash. If you play enough you get

10/20 = $5.5/100 or .28BB/100
15/30 = $5.7/100 or .19BB/100
20/40 = $5.5/100 or .14BB/100

Put that on top of the ~$5-$6/100 you get in party points as it is that should be a little more than .5BB/100 at 10/20 which is quite decent, no?
06-27-2008 , 06:23 AM
how is the bonus stystem working in general?

I have to play a fixed amount each week or I have to top my hand count of last week?
06-27-2008 , 06:32 AM
yeah that seems nice... how do you opt in, i cant find it on the promotion page.

BTW does anyone have table mods for PP and how do you get them?
06-27-2008 , 07:30 AM
@larm

For some reason there is no link in the promo page go to the left windows of the lobby
or
http://www.partypoker.com/news/items...mean_cash.html

For one time it seems there is a good promo at party, 20000 points is just about 30 000 hands at 10/20-20/40. Oink, your numbers seem a little high, but there is probably more raked hands when you are at the table .

Anyway it is about 10$/100 hand instead of 5$/100 at 10/20 with the party points reward. Party Poker doesn't want summer holydays for us.

@Timok each you should win more than the average of your last 10 weeks (weekly goal). Each week you also increase you loyalty coefficient. As you don't have already 10 week of play and loyalty coefficient should be low, you can not get much right now.

Solidp stop running at 9BB/100 against me. It is quite annoying, 5BB/100 is enough.

thx.

I guess I write PP:
hello I am supernova at stars. I pay 80k $ rake in 2007. Now I get 27% rakeback in FPPs. Please explain what PP is offering in 2 sentence.

Haven't played LHE last few days and last time I played, I ran like crap and spewed like a donkey. I played against you and actually won a pot???
06-27-2008 , 10:43 AM
Yes, you won a few pots against me.

06-27-2008 , 10:48 AM
I started doing the 80 rakefree hours promotion 12 days ago. Only at small stakes though because my confidence had taken a bash during my d/s. It has REALLY improved my work ethic. Running good so far too. Good work Party with the promos atm.

Ouch, sorry. I thought you were making up the 9bb/100 stuff.

hey party people,
after getting 3 essays from partypoker concerning their promo system I still dont get it.

can somebody help me with the math...
I downloaded a 250k sample size of party 5-10 hands:
252.669 hands in total
185.895 were raked (74% of the hands were raked)
356.545 $ rake were taken
= 2.77 BB/100 hands
avg 5.1 players at the table

20 raked hand at 5-10$ equal 15 partypoints
0.75 points per raked hand, 74% are raked = 0.75 * 0.74 = 0.55 points per hand at 5-10$

lets say I play about 10k hands per week = 7500 partypoints = Ace 1 = 7500*4 = 300$ rakeback (I payed 2700 $ in rake)

is this right?
06-29-2008 , 11:43 AM
Your calculation is slightly wrong. 10k hands != 10k raked hands

In my experience, it is more like 0.6 points per hand at $5/$10.
10k hands per week equals about 6000 Party points. If you wait with exchanging into $$$ until you are Deuce4, you get a multiplier of 8 => 6000*8 = $480.

Of course this implies your Weekly Goal already is at least 6000 points.

sorry but thats wrong. I asked the party support about it. only hands in which rake is taken out of the pot counts towards the raked hand counter (otherwise you can sit with 5 guys and just fold all day long and still get partypoints.)

but if you get 0.6 PP for each hand at 5-10$ (which is somewhat true if you are a LAG). you need to play 100000/0.6 = ~170k hands to become deuce 4
your points will worth 100000*8*0.01$ now = 8000 $

but you have paid 170k/100*2.77*10$ = ~47k $ in rake

8000/47000= ~17% rakeback

and it only took me 3 days and 5 e-mails to the party support to figure this out.
06-30-2008 , 10:59 AM
17% plus 25% "unmentionable".... too bad it's kinda tough nowadays to get someone to provide the "unmentionable"
