The March LC/NC thread comes in like a lamb, but out like...probably also a lamb.

I have a ruder neighbor than Unguarded. It's a slutty bitch that lives next door. She makes an unbelievable amount of noise. It's impossible for her to close a door or drawer without slamming the crap out of it. She cannot take a step without her 110 pounds stomping the hell out of the floor. Random crashes into the shared wall, etc, etc. This is a concrete and steel building too, not a stick building. My bottles on the shelves rattle like there's an earthqiuake 20 times a day.

Got one of these like a month ago

Couldn't recommend any more...it's so fun:

No one can argue with that.

So, you don't get money directly that way; it deposits in your bank, right?

FWIW, my bank at least is very cool with these checks. Like, for one check they cashed it immediately, despite me not asking for that and despite the fact that I didn't have enough in the account to cover the check (the latter of which I thought prevented ALL immediate cashing of checks, regardless of where they come from).

That car STARTS at 72k, according to some website I just looked at.

Baller. Didn't you say you were quitting poker full-time and getting some job? Must be going pretty well.

Elo, it just deposits it into my account. I think you got lucky being able to cash the check... that is really rare according to the Bovada payout thread. Also, hen is ****ing Norwegian. That is all you need to know.

Its all LHE financed and since i now no longer depend on poker i have taken out a big chunk of my poker roll last year.
And like UG say normal gasoline cars are taxed to death over here. F.ex a BMW with similar HP would definitely cost 200k++ (~100% tax). So 100k for a car of this caliber is a once in a lifetime opportunity really. Also helps that electricity is so so much cheaper than gas as well. So while its def (imo) a lot of money for a car it still makes a lot of sense economically unless ofc you have to borrow most of it at bad interest rates or something.

I went to the bank right before closing today with another check and they made me deposit it. I think you (and the Bovada thread regs) are correct.

Nice.

I like how poker player will give a mathematical justification even for luxury purchases. Reminds me heavily of the Timex Lambo purchase story contained in the interview posted here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...s-old-1422556/ which, fwiw, is quite a nice interview.

I want a Bentley, but it's just because they look cool.

I thought K6 was K9 and bet/called down on some Q9xxx board. I lost ... to K9.

The above hand started with an openlimp on the button. (TRK9 was BB). Lots of bros openlimp. It's a sound strategy. You don't want to wager many chips before the community cards are revealed. That is just careless.
