kinda interesting river spot imo.
I've been running pretty laggy but nothing too out of line this session.
BTN is knaster who has kinda laggy stats and used to be a slightly losing player but according to PTR started winning lately. he's pretty aggro and ok. His 3betting range vs my MP raise is pretty wide since i'm ******ed.
BB is an unknown who i had running at about 33/22 over 50 hands, so take that fwiw.

i think i have the best hand herer a lot, but i'm pretty confused by
a) BB's line
b) basically every hand in knaster's range that calls my bet(Ax) will bet anyways, so should i go for the c/r for max value/induce a silly bluff
c)other stuff i cant put my finger on

I think I wouldn't try to get fancy and I would bet, hoping BTN can call me with some mid pp that can't valuebet and has no reason to bluff but may decide to bluffcatch. I'm not sure though if he has mid pps in his range or he would vbet the turn with them as he should, imo. If I'm certain he would vbet the turn with those then yeah I might check and hope he bets his QT KT T9s whatever. That plus the possibility to get in a c/r vs a worse A probably makes it far superior to the bet if he would almost certainly vbet his pairs on the turn imo.

Ok thinking about it more, taking everything into consideration - villain being aggro so probably vbetting turn with any pair, +3betting you light putting KT QTs AT A9s in his range which outweigh the mid pp combos that would check back, I changed my mind and like a c/r more.

BB seems to have tripped over his own shoelaces w/ 77 or something. Wouldn't Knaster have bet AK on the turn? It seems like he should feel pretty pumped about his hand. I think that he has AQ- or air always but mostly AQ-. I can see BB calling w/ his crappy pair more easily after we check than if we bet out and force him to possibly overcall. So ya, c/r looks good to me.

I dont like the c/r all that much. I think knaster has K high too often here and will check behind. If he bets and you c/r both I think BB will fold his pp <TT a lot too, so the c/r is thin by itself. Does he even 3bet you much ligher than Ax pre here, where x<T?
And Im no sure Knaster bets turn very often with AK. Could be wrong about that though, and it would make a c/r slightly more attractive I guess.
Still I would bet and let BB make a crying call with his 88-TT, and hope Knaster doesnt have AK/AQ.

edit: after re-reading the board I guess it is not all that peel friendly for stuff like KT. And if knasters range pre is wide enough to have a lot of Q high type hands in it. I guess a check becomes better than I thought first IF he is likely to take stab here. If not then it doesnt matter ofc.

Knaster's PP's are really discounted after that turn. So that only leaves Ax/KQ type hands in his range. One will always bet the other might make a hail mary stab.

Just want to throw out a "what if". Btn bets and BB raises (as there is still a small posibility BB has a JJ type holding that went for whiffed turn C/R and found a perfect river spot to make up for it). UTG....?
