I'm lost on this one. I'm lost on this one.

I have no idea what the hell is going on here. I think I should raise or fold the turn but I dunno. River is WTF.

Samples are small

SB is 52/10/1.9
CO is 19/15/1.7

I think calling down from the flop 3bet is perfectly fine. Raising isn't terrible but my instinct is to just call down. If you're raising I would rather raise the river than the turn; you'll get 3-bet less.

SB donking the turn and checking the river is so bizarre. It could've been a misclick. I think cutoff probably has a pocket pair and SB may have a weak queen. I'd c/c and see a showdown.

I hate giving CO credit for anything more than a weak pair or a flush draw when he 3bets in position after cold-calling pre. But SB's turn donk is a real problem since it opens us up to another raise from CO if we call. I wouldn't raise because these people will just donk river again for the donkfecta. I think calling turn and folding if CO raises is best.

I'm having a hard time putting anyone on anything with much confidence while staring at the converted hand here, so undoubtedly I'd be very confused at the table.

Which means I'd probably call the turn like you did.

And then I'd probably check the river too. But there may be merit to your apparent bet. It's not too hard to imagine you getting looked up by 2x or 54 (SB) or, say, AcXc (either player) or even a lower busted flush.

I dunno. This is one of those spots where I really kind of want to see the hands (or at least one of them), and checking the river seems to increase the chances of that happening . Plus, a bet does feel at least a little bit like a bluff, and even though that feeling may be incorrect (see previous paragraph), it does also seem to be the case that no one is folding a better hand to a single bet after this strange action.

i just fold the turn, the CO has a flush draw at worst, but probably has some PP we lose to.

the sb sucks at poker, but i'm still worried about the CO, so when the sb bets, it gives me a chance to get out of the way

Weird hand. Any read on the SB other than he probably isn't very experienced?

SB prolly has Q7o. Anywho, I am lost, pot is big and I have a pair on a super safe flop, I want to get to the showdown as cheaply as possible. As such I would play it as you did and then check the river and call the river if the CO bets. I think it is played so strangely that you can't really fold the river. I am not folding the turn to another donk. That is the classic "donk could mean absolutely anything, I have a pair no foldeeeeee!!!" moment.

*grunch*

There's a ton of different hands both of these guys could have.

I'd expect to see mid pockets and flush draws a lot here, as well as the possible QJ, KQ from the sb.

I'm c/c this river.

We have only a value bet against A2s and 55. Both hands could be in the range of CO and SB, but they can also bet a busted draw and a Q as well. So I check/call the river for 1/12-13. We don't need to be often in front to make a profitable call.

to everyone that calls the turn, why are you calling the turn?

answer this in a way that contains this information

you don't know the CO just calls the turn or the SB checks the river

if we leave off at

turn: sb bets, hero ???

what hands do you think the CO has, what do you think the SB has? it's quite a parley to be ahead of both, and if you are ahead of the CO, he has 15 outs by himself the times you are ahead. then you have the SB to worry about

you have 2 outs when behind.
