You're making an assumption a 3/6 reg like LaPeste doesn't share though.

You two disagree on whether it's more often a pair or air.

As for villain having a pair. Fish love to doubledonk though. Raising for a free card won't be that good. And you have to be quite confident it's more often a pair than air. Lastly afaik fish also rarely fold pairs.

Do you ever raise this dry of a flop with a hand that beats second pair? Or do you just not worry about villain adjusting?

I routinely put in a value raise on the flop, but often wait until turn.

Most won't adjust, but I do it anyway.
