Full Tilt 8/16 $ 6-handed.

BB is Chessnode. I dont have any stats since my pokertracker seems to have crashed. I would say that he is a good and tricky player. Seems to be winning alot.

BTN is the reason why I am sitting here. He limps almost everyhand. Even when he is first in. Postflop he tends to overvalue his hands and from time to time gets very aggresive. For example he 3-bet at this flop A 8 2 with K2. No flushdraws possible.

Hero is SB with J 7

Preflop:

BTN limps. Hero calls. BB checks.

I guess my call here is alright. Even if BB pops it I dont exept BTN to 3-bet. Any thoughts?

Postflop:

Hero checks. BB checks. BTN bets. Hero raises. BB 3-bets. BTN calls. Hero calls.

Turn:

btw bb is che$$nock right (replace $ with s). in which case i fold this pf since hes going to raise very often vs an open limper and sb completer

I would have liked a preflop raise. From how I understand your read on BTN, he can have almost any two cards. Your hand has decent equity.

Usually, I would just bet the flop, especially with the loose BTN. But with the aggressive read on him I can see the merit in a check/raise if he is the guy to bet when checked to.

Turn should be a check/raise. I don't expect BB to check the turn ever.

I dunno, from what I remember chessnok is capable of taking some odd lines, and I'm pretty sure I've seen him take unexpected free cards in the past. I'd donk the turn mainly because I want at least one bet to go in but not 3, which could happen if I cr.
