AQ turn spot+river AQ turn spot+river

20/40 live 4 handed (I know that MHSH is the "correct" forum for this, but I feel like posting it here)

SB is taggish, but doesnt seem to adjust to shorthanded well. Hes cold called a bunch in the sb and open limped once or twice. His postflop seems a bit passive, but it may just be because he hasnt been dealt much. Earlier he called bb's obvious bluff attempt with A high after peeling a K63 flop with A2 vs the pfr with a player behind him. Id been playing very aggresively when the game was 3 handed and both probably view me as very LAG. BB calls a lot and has no brain. If you bet the turn, do you bet the river UI?

Preflop Hero is CO with A Q and raises, button folds, sb calls, bb calls.

Flop 9 2 9
Sb checks, bb checks, I bet, sb calls, bb folds.

Turn 4
Sb checks, I check

River 6
sb checks, I bet.

I think you should bet the turn, and given the circumstances/your reads then you're not that likely to get bluffed, so I think you can bet/fold.

Riverbet is good as played. Whether to bet all 3 streets is close, I think. would he just c/c all the way with a two or a pocket pair? Will he call down with any ace? I think it's probably OK with your image.

Because of your read on the guy, I think you should bet the turn. He seems like he will peel a lot of hands on the flop, so there's a good chance you have the best hand. If he checkraises you are probably in trouble. I think I would find a fold.

If he calls your turn bet I'm not sure what to do if checked to on a river blank. Personally I would check it but I'm probably wrong. His three most likely hands are A high, small pair, or flush draw. All A highs are probably calling this river, so are any pairs, and flush draws are folding. You may have heard from a small pair earlier, so you could probably discount them a bit. The more I think about it the more this looks like a good value bet. Plus you are likely to get some more loose calldowns in the future if people notice you 3barreled A high.

Ya bet the turn.

I would strongly consider 3 barreling the river for value.

I would def. bet the turn. What if he raises though? Online I would usually calldown. live though...hmmmm

could well be value in a river bet too. esp if you've seen him c/f flops with PP's in similar spots.
