Bet on flop = standard.
Normally I would be betting the turn (and calling or folding to a reraise depending on the villian) but like the check against an unknown.
Can't see the 9 having helped him on the river. With 3.5BB in the pot minus rake (I think) calling here is not nice but necessary against an unknown. Hope for the bluff but not surprised if he turns over J10, QJ, KJ.

Agree?

Heads up on the turn I bet/fold and check the river UI.

Against an unknown I prefer taking a showdown line with the non-pair nuts which means I'm either bet/calling down or checking the turn and calling the river. Since I don't like the idea of investing 3bb's from the turn on with no read, I would generally play this hand exactly as the hero did.

I think it's important that I posted in this thread so we can have back to back Michigan symbols.

Yeah, not a bad line to ch behind the turn intending to call the river UI. It's either that and fire that c-bet on the turn hoping you get checked into on the river...but you pretty much have to do the b/f in that spot.

Checking behind on the turn/calling if bet into on the river will allow you to also see villain's holding, too. So that's nice.

I would play it the same, since you cant B/f against an unknown who could be semibluffing 108, Q10, xsxs and 45. River is an easy call.
