Definitely bet the turn. BB's donk can mean other things besides the flush draw.

Ya this is an easy turn bet, don't assume anyone has a flush here. Checking through and letting a fourth spade or a king or ace fall would be a disaster. Folding this river is horrible.

Turn check is poor, river fold is atrocious. BB's range is much wider after you check the turn and encourage him to bet.

A7 won the hand

yeah, you beat so much hand that the turn bet is mandatory to take your value and protect your hand against backdoors FD.

I've found the typical donker's range is: any pair (on the board or in the hole), any flush draw, any straight draw (gs or oe), and A high on a dry board. In other words, you're ahead most of the time.

A turn bet here gets value from worse Qs, 6x, 7x, every straight draw, and any two cards with a single spade in it that will call again. I'd bet/call the turn.

Or two cards and an irresistible "BET" button.

As people said, you must bet the turn, and as played you must call the river. If raised at any point I'd call down because I never fold TP with a nice kicker against almost anyone on that type of board.

If it makes anybody feel better, I feel ashamed of my play. Right after the hand I thought, "WTF did I just do?" and closed down my tables.

don't worry. tilts can strike every one of us. It's easy to trash talk on that forum. The important point is being aware of it and working your game.

wow, bet turn, and if you have a stroke and forget to bet the turn call the river on the way to the hospital.

ever

Folding the river is weak play. 9 to 1 on odds? You would need to have <10% winning chances. Given the line and your hand, this is an easy call. But you live and learn. I once made a worse fold. So bad I am reluctant to share. Just live and learn.
