Villain is 20/16/3.7 over 25 hands. I haven't been doing well at this table and opponents have been taking shots
at me quite frequently.

Question here is, can I ever c/r the turn card against villain's range?

Why c/r the turn and not the flop? It's not like you have 86 and now have a good semibluff. He's very rarely going to fold anything better then 66 to a c/r on the turn. So if you're going to c/r, it has to be for value in which case you should have c/r'ed the flop.

I didn't c/r the flop for a few reasons:

1. I was doing poorly at this table and was tilting a bit

Now that I think about it, that is the only reason...lol

I have another question though. Say I am c/r a LOT of flops frequently. What types of things might other players do as adjustments AND more importantly how can I re-adjust my play once they have caught on? I would like to hear other's experiences with this situation.

don't c/r turn

if you c/r a lot of flops other players may 3-bet light, 3-bet for a free card more, 3-bet for a free sd more, 3-bet for value lighter, go to sd lighter, wait till the turn to raise lighter, 2 and 3-barrel more if you don't c/r, check behind some flops, 3-bet pf less, call your c/r lighter, call turn lighter after you c/r, call down lighter after you c/r, raise turn for a free sd more, raise turn as a bluff more, call you a moron more

the strategy to counteract that would be to stop c/r'ing too many flops.

I c/r the flop as my standard play, and call down from a 3 bet. I think a c/r on the turn is fine as well but if you get 3 bet and miss here you have to fold the river.

Does anyone like a c/c if you brick river after a turn c/r line? Brick being any non AKQ72.

If you c/r the flop often, most players will 3 bet you and take free cards or free sd, or make a free sd play on the turn.

I don't like c/c on river. If a brick falls that misses both draws, then ace high is calling us down all day. I'm also betting pretty much every river and deciding what to do if raised.
