Trip Report:

Just got to Vegas! Commerce was pretty cool, different than I was expecting. There were one or two angry players, but everyone was much more friendly than I was told would be the case. The room itself was more of just a big room full of poker tables than I had envisioned. The parking lot was safer than I had been told, I took a few trips to the car The rake was pretty high, but the games were good.

The first day the 60 started pretty tough but got good later in the evening, the 2nd day (wed?) it never ran at all and I never got a seat in 100 so played 40 all night. On the last day I wanted to take a 1/2 shot, but they were playing 2/4 instead But, 60 was good all day and we were able to bump it to 100 later when the game was short so at least I got to play a little. (and it allowed me to get unstuck ) I ran good overall and left with $5,256 of the LA moniez.

The next day, my wife, my dog, and I drove to Death Valley, where we explored some **** and camped for the night. This morning we explored some more, despite the hurricane-force winds and near-freezing temperatures at some of the mountain peaks. Everything was amazing though. We also drove through a pretty intense sandstorm on the way to Vegas. I couldn't see 10ft in front of the car (LOLdeserts,) but we made it.

We got a sweet house on airbnb not far from Bellagio, complete with yard for the dog, and now I'm ready to get some ZOMG moniez

sorry i missed you in vegas, paul. i just got back tonight. was there for 4 days, but didn't play a lick of poker. took my wife to go zip linning in bootleg canyon in boulder city. it was awesome. i'll see you next time i'm at bay.
