This sounds a lot like the American taxation system.

Has anyone played fixed limit Omaha hi? I notice it is actually available on Bovada. What is the knock on this game? Too flippish to beat the rake?
He had a thread in NVG about it.

I hate that ******* rules aren't universal. People are way too drunk to figure out somebody elses rules.

Someone should write a Robert's Rules for drinking games.

Cool thread C Bids, ty! Great read until the last few pages when it devolves into NVGtards yelling at each other. Very nice contributions by our own DougL as well!

From reading the thread, it sounds like the variance is completely insane and the action is insane in a loose game... like 100 BB pots are possible. It also looks like it actually runs at 10/20-20/40 in a few locations, most notably Toronto area. If I am ever in Toronto for some reason, it would be really fun to play some 20/40 Omaha hi. I have heard the games are off the hook in Toronto in general... huge fishfests.

Having to agree with UG on O8 strategy threads is making me depressed.

I think I may have seen it at the Venetian at WSOP time too.

FLO high is awesome, it is on Bovada. It might be the best game to play hu. O8 is the dumbest game in the world, there's too much going on and chopped pots are for ****.

nl is only awesome playing live with guys playing 40vpip 5handed, only can be fun full ring if it's at high stakes that you're not rolled for; it makes the boredom terrifying instead of ... well, boring.

Stickyrice1 is live at the Bike!!!

Also, you probably can't have quantum suicide without quantum consciousness. Ok I'm done for the day.

Welcome back, Elo! You absolutely must check out this StickyRice1 dude. He is like the new Isildur1... cept instead of being a talented degen luckbox, he is just a huge degen luckbox and a hilarious spaz to boot!

Also, wtf? You used to love donking around at LO8 when you were on tilt in the good ol days!

Could anyone recommend some software for recording myself play on Bovada for study purposes? I can't import my hands into PT at O8, and even if if I could, I would not be able to see my HUD stats.

I want to be able to easily 1) play back through my sessions and 2) cut out interesting spots and put them together into a new video for studying with others/getting coaching/reviewing in the future/etc.

Thanks for any advice!

Camtasia is the best IMO but it costs unless you can find codes. I'm using this freeware now http://www.bbsoftware.co.uk/bbflashbackexpress.aspx

Camtasia??? 2004 called and they want their crappy software back.

A lot of professional casters use this: https://obsproject.com/

Its free and actively developed (which means bugs get fixed fast). Some people say its tricky to set up but they're probably idiots that can't use google to solve simple issues. Then there's XSplit but that costs money.

Just read this:

For those of you who missed it... StickyRice1 was on Live at the Bike last night. This kid is quite possibly GOAT irl troll. Skip to 1:58:30 for epicness:

Some perspective on just how dead LHE really is... on BF, I would sometimes compare the top winners at NL, LHE, and PLO on PTR. At the time, the 25th and 50th NL player on the leader board over a time period would make about twice as much as a LHE player. PLO and LHE were very close.

Now, based on this year so far... #25 NL = $109, 795, #25 PLO = $139,897, #25 LHE = lol $33,320

#50 NL = $79,506, #50 PLO = $87,981, and #50 LHE = lol $20,096

So LHE players of similar skill now make about 1/4 of what the big bet guys did, though we still made about half of what the big guys did on BF. Pretty rough numbers, but definitely enough to fully convince me that LHE is not only a sinking ship... but the ship has been resting at the bottom of the ocean for a few years now.

Also, the prophets (hi Oink!) who had been telling us to switch to PLO since 2008 were dead right. At least on the Euro sites, PLO seems to have passed NL as the most profitable game for good players.

Cliffs: We are all very ******ed

Base on percentage of winners or total players and not absolute rank based on dollars won. It is probably easier to rise to 50th biggest LHE winner than it is in NL.

What's new? Everything is the worst and I hate everyone. I'm super poor. I guess none is that is particularly new.

That pic is incredible, though. I would get kicked out of that place for permanent-ass-staring.

WARNING - watch this with the sound turned down. I wanna stab that female in the face.

No ****, just ****ing awful. And ***** limon too jeezus. I love the goofiness but how about some mic volume range awareness. I went to the beginning and didn't make it more than like 5 or 10 minutes before stopping because the audio was too tilting and watching a low NL game is so boring sticky there or not.

That said the mask was pretty funny, and lol at that guy like taking a 'swing' at the mask.

Had to watch the whole thing. Limon and Nicole had me rolling. How funny that was. Turns out even small stakes can be fun to watch.
