Button Raises (22/15 weak player) I have As7d in SB. The BB is the reason im in the game he is a spew tard monkey who is on tilt.

I dont play much 15/30 should I 3 bet or CC?

My thinking was the BB is gonna CC 3 alot. Now Im OOP postion in a Big pot with a meh hand. The button range isnt huge he could be capping.

akward spot. But I feel like this is one of those rare spots were coldcalling is fine from SB, cause of the 2/3 blind structure.
I agree that raising is kind of meh.
I actually dont dislike folding either, as our hand is not great OOP vs tight BTN range and loose BB.
BTN's range limits our immediate equity and BB limits our fold equity

3bet, not close imo. Just play some poker if it's 3way and you miss the flop. Having BB coldcall with garbage hands does not make 3betting less attractive.

3-bet. This is a 3-bet in most cases for me unless the button is particularly nitty. Like mute said, you'll be 3-way with A7 a lot, but their ranges are wide as well.

marginal decision IMO......

Better question is would you rather float the spew with your TP hand and let him barrel off his weaker pair because he thinks your weak.

OR

Fire out, get raised by the spew and then have the button call along not knowing the whole time that your A is beat because of the BB forcing you and the BUT to stay in the hand to have BUT A9 beat your A7 cause BB shows u 7s that he 3 bet preflop.

IMO, but this is highly debatable, I'd rather call along and then play post flop poker and try to SD my top pair cheap or go crazy on my 7 high flop :-)

I call here, if we're aiming to get value from the BB, may as well make sure he is in the pot. Also, if the flop is disgusting, we can escape cheaply, whereas if we 3-bet we are almost committed to c-betting.

I think that a 3-bet is trying to win the pot outright by pressuring both players, w/o really taking advantage of the BB, whereas by calling pf we are just hoping for a flop where we can exploit the BB's poor play. Using superior postflop skill takes the money in LHE, and here is an excellent chance to wait until the flop before making our play, as our edge is so big over the BB.

Having said this, if the BB will call w/ much much weaker hands, and the button's range is standard-ish, 3-betting may simply be for value here
