not that i actually get the chance to watch too many habs games to get an actual reference on how "hated" subban is and whether he deserves his reputation, but i've heard that he's kind of a selfish douche and when you have someone that already has a rep for being a selfish douche and he's actually really good, pretty much everyone hates him. i mean, look at every white guy that's ever played basketball for duke. most of them weren't even selfish douches, they just were in the program that has a reputation for having selfish douchey white dudes.
