I'm a guy who has witnessed when people accused of racism have apologized.

I wonder how many forum dwellers here have looked a racist in the eye before? Should we poll?

Look them in the eye.

That is my preferred method of apology, but I can settle for a written assertion of apology as well.

It maybe those light drugs, but I was talking about apologizing in general.

Also, about my experience with people who have been accused of racism and have apologized.

One benefit of an apology in-person is eye contact. It can help the people involved in the apology connect better.

Anyway, somebody mentioned a guy apologizing and it seemed topical.

Some famous political racists have apologized. That's one place for further interest on the topic.
