EDIT: Good short answer to the question is "having a society where bahbahmickey's viewpoints arent openly ridiculed"
I'm not sure where this came from, but I wouldn't call myself affluent or say that the government targets me or affluent white males as you are trying to suggest.

Your posting history is accessible.

@bahbah, do you honestly think that your point about corporate america vs the nba even makes sense? pretty hard to think of a field that is more of a meritocracy than professional sports

I do think it makes sense. Can you explain why you don't think it makes sense?

pro athletes have their jobs because they are better at them than everyone else. if someone else was better, they would have the job. the owners don't care about anything other than the bottom line, they're looking to put the best product on the field/court that they can.

corporate america is obv much more about networking, as is business in general. no one sane is denying this.

don't make stupid racist assertions and not expect to get called out. don't forget we're unchained.

Oh you mean Schwarzy? I don't think people really want to look like him these days.

No, your racism comes out in other posts. I inferred you are racist from your racist posts and combined the two thoughts.

I thoroughly disagree. I have never posted one thing on 2+2 that could be considered racist.

I owe you a bit of an apology for jumping to conclusions. This

Quote:

might not show you to be a racist, just a mouth breathing, drooling moron.

So apologies if you are not a racist and are instead a mouth breathing, drooling moron.

Boardrooms & shareholders don't care what color or sex a CEO is. Just like the owners of sports teams the only care about the results.

If anything your argument should be that minorities don't get the same opportunities as white men, because saying a company is willing to sacrifice profits for having a white man in charge is just silly.

What part of what I just said is racist?

I would much rather be called a mouth breathing, drooling moron than a racist. Thank you and I do accept your apology. You - like most liberals - are just quick to yell racism if you can't think of a reasonable argument against something you don't like.

Maybe we should add that to our list of what we will be ridiculed for in the future:

-calling stuff racist that isn't racist and while we are at it we can add calling stuff gay that isn't gay

No problem you mouth breathing, drooling moron.

If you cant figure out why your example was incorrect, you literally cannot be an intelligent person. Its not jumping to conclusions, its drawing conclusions based on evidence.

The fact that you have thousands of posts worth of laughable garbage just makes it a stronger conclusion. There's a reason you are thiiiiiiissss close to being banned in politics.

Im not a liberal, just not a fan of morons who literally refuse to acknowledge any obvious racial issues in America (and good old boy networks obviousluy are one), and think they are clever by making an absolutely idiotic analogy to the racial composition of NBA players. To make that analogy you either have to be a closet racist or really stupid.

This may remind you of your previous post:

Current pro athletes have their jobs because they are better at them than everyone else just like current CEOs are better at their jobs than everyone else available on the market. if someone else was better, they would have the job. the owners don't care about anything other than the bottom line, they're looking to put the best product on the field/court/boardroom that they can.
12-03-2013 , 02:36 PM
Um, what previous post?

Yes, the fact that you look at those two things as similar without any regard for how people become NBA players and how people become CEO's illustrates very well why you are an idiot. I agree.

that is the argument indeed. denying it is stupid. implying that white men themselves are discriminated against (your NBA assertion) is stupid. i would say both are racist, but we can go with stupid if that makes you feel more comfortable.
12-03-2013 , 02:48 PM
also, I would say that companies are very comfortable sacrificing profits because of prejudice. see: the antebellum south in the united states.

Umm... the post that I copied and pasted then added the bolded words to.

I never said the way someone becomes an NBA player and the way someone becomes a CEO are the same. If you are from certain states and play on certain AAU teams or go to certain basketball schools you probably get a slight edge over someone else just like a guy that went to harvard would have an edge over a high-school grade. But nobody is picking an NBA player or a CEO because of his race, sex, or religion.

So you don't think any white person ever got passed on for an AAU team because he was white because of the stereotype that African-American's are better at basketball?
