In so far as it is because he was driven away by people criticizing his modding in OOT, the ironing is delicious.

In fairness though, he was complained about relentlessly and had world class thick skin about it. A lot of mods, you just don't criticize if you don't want to get banned.

There is a simple fact of modding that you will be criticized. If it gets too annoying then you just need to step down. If you choose to stay then you have to rein in your reactions, preferably to zero in forum.

Yeah, Dids was overall a pretty solid mod. I personally disagreed with a bunch of his judgement calls (and frankly with a forum like OOT that's just the way its going to go) but he always handled criticism well.
