It's pretty misguided arrogance to think billions want to live in the United States.

The system we have had in place has been working very well. It is not easy to come here nor to manage to stay. Violent criminals should be deported.

It's funny when so many second and third generation Americans scream that people need to go back where they come from.

The bottom line is there was absolutely nothing wrong with the status quo on immigratiion unless you are racist and want fewer middle eastern and South American browns. There is no horrible wave of crime from immigrants end in fact illegals commit fewer crimes because they have much more serious consequences (except for the most extreme violent offenses, in which case it's a tie).

The US needs the lifeblood of immigrants both legal and illegal. Again it just requires common sense and not being racist, something the current administration falls short on both cases.

Feel free to explain the crisis' thst required such radical modifications to immigration policy. Please focus on the United States as given our singular unique nature it can't be compared with other countries on this issue.
