One of my dogs, his name is Boss, had his 11th birthday today. He is a bloodhound, an incredible trailing dog no doubt. Also a champion in the show ring. He is like allergic to a lot of things. It took us (wife and I) a lot of money and some excellent vets to figure it out. Bottom line, grain free, expensive dog food did the trick with him. Eleven is pretty old for a bloodhound. If he makes it to 12 that would be truly remarkable. Never thought he'd make it to eight let alone eleven. I took him for a nice long walk this evening. He seems really in great health, very happy guy. Happy birthday Boss!
