Right, right. Introspective, this -- but I've also noticed that the color of the Politics forum has changed. Of course, I made the rookie mistake of jumping into a circle-jerk thread (I should have realized why it had 300+ pages), so it escaped me at first, but it looks like its now strongly dominated by leftists. That's a bit sad, the forum was more evenly divided between left and right, recalling back to the ~3 years I seriously posted there.

Where have people like madnak, vhawk, hmkpoker, Borodog, Nielsio, etc., gone? pvn, you seem more drive-by in Politics than you were at one point. AlexM or C, don't remember which, also used to start threads. What happened to the philosophical bent of titles like, "Who will build the roads"? I've actually come to think AC is deeply wrong, but I learned a great deal from the philosophical exposition from its proponents in the older incarnation of Politics. It's like the march through institutions has to corrupt everything.

Only posts in politics by ConstantineX I've ever read are the two above and I can say with confidence this thread needs a title change.

I can count the number of self-identifying 'leftists' here on one hand. But I get what you mean, this is a generic term used by some to tarnish anyone who isn't as right wing as they are, along with 'socialist', 'pinko' and 'red'.
