Friendly dude at a social gathering: "So what do you do?"
Keeed: "Yeah, so I work at one of the 3 largest paper mills in the nation as an engineer. It's a safe and stable gig, we produce the '11th essential' product, among other things. But enough about me, how about this cheese dip?!"
DIB, this isn't a good look. Like whatever you and Keed want to get into is between you but when I see someone go after a person because of the job they do I generally think worse of the person doing the calling and never think worse of the person doing the job under criticism.*
Now if you want you can decide this is my coming to Keed's defence but no one here thinks worse of Keed because of his job and given it seems you think your criticism of him should shame him it's just not working and you should reconsider.
*Some jobs I think are ****ty like being a bailiff or law enforcement but that's an aside.
