I'm a good poster, and I've publicly disagreed with kerowo regarding his mod actions.

See, this is what I don't get. This isn't a public space, it's private property. The owner has delegated to his volunteer mods the task of running a interwebs forum. Part of that task is banning defiant dicks.

So, if kerowo gives crystal clear instructions like above. You got several options. You could...

1. Stop doing it.
2. Stop doing it. PM kerowo and try to talk him into changing his mind.
3. Stop doing it. Bring it up ITT, and try to talk the mods into changing their minds.
4. Stop doing it. Go to ATF.
5. Stop doing it. PM Mat Sklansky.
6. Be a defiant dick. Keep doing it. And get banned.

Who is bahbah to me, and why would I care that he got banned other than thinking it seemed a bit unfair? I wasn't even the one who brought the topic up, I just gave my opinion about the matter. So, where is my vested interest in this topic, if I'm "butthurt" about it?

To be clear, I am neither on or against bahbah's side as a poster. He seems ok to me, as do the vast majority of the people who post here. I have no reason to defend him. This is in stark contrast to the relationship of, say, LG and Kerowo. They are obviously biased towards each other. There has never been disagreement or dissention on their side of the arguments in this forum ever. Never, not once.

So yeah, pretty much your entire idea of me being somehow upset that bahbah caught a temp-ban is ludicrous. Just as when DiB caught a ban when he annoyed Kerowo. Neither of them mean anything to me as people or posters (I don't mean this in a bad way). That doesn't mean I don't have an opinion on why they were banned and if it seemed justified. Both seemed ridiculously stupid as far as reasons to ban someone, and I'll voice my opinion about it.

Meh, before all anyone posted about was Spank. I think a large part of PU is people bitching about other people in PU. It's super easy to avoid getting any kind of ban in PU and yet people still manage to do it and other people then lose their collective minds over it for days on end before going back to bitching about other people in PU.

PU is the anarchy thread and stuff that would normally go in ATF but is contained here so Mat doesn't get annoyed and a spot for posters who are bad enough to get banned from Alpha and the people who want to troll them.

Signatures can be used to spam, and so can the topic line, or you can do the same thing in-line too, etc. There'll never be any bright-line rule about what is spamming, because that's just a licence for a-holes to go right up to it. See: Teh Jabber-Wookie. So... what's spam then? Well, it's going to be whatever the mods think is spam. And when they mess up or you disagree... then we got the whole PM, ATF, etc thingee.
